Takemichi returns to the present to find his friends alive and successful. However, Mikey has not contacted any of his friends for the past 12 years and has formed a new gang called Bonten.
Takemichi can no longer travel to the past through Naoto. When he saves Mikey from jumping off a building, he suddenly travels 10 years into the past to 2008.

In 2008, Takemichi is in high academy. He learns that since the Tokyo Manji Gang disbanded, there’s a power struggle between three gangs Rokuhara Tandai, Brahman, and Mikey’s new gang, the Kanto Manji Gang. Takemichi prevents Senju’s death, but Draken is killed while guarding them. The Kanto Manji Gang wins and absorbs Rokuhara Tandai.
Meanwhile, Senju disbands Brahman to stop Mikey from killing Takemichi. When Takemichi confronts Mikey, he reveals that he failed in the original timeline. Shinichiro saved him by traveling back in time and stealing the capability from a homeless man. In the present, Takemichi lets Mikey give in to his violent nature to fight him. Despite enduring Mikey’s kicks, Takemichi is mortally wounded by Sanzu’s katana. As he’s about to die, he screams Mikey’s name, snapping Mikey out of his rage.
Mikey heartbreaks and cradles Takemichi’s body. Both time- vault further back to 1998. Takemichi and Mikey reunite in front of a confused Shinichiro, Emma, Baji, and Sanzu. They covenant to change the timeline to help the” bad ending.” They establish Toman together and help Baji and Kazutora from accidentally killing Shinichiro.
They also help the deaths of Baji, Draken, Emma, and Kisaki, whom Takemichi befriends. They resolve the Shiba siblings’ disagreement and save Izana. At Musashi Shrine, Mikey welcomes Black Dragon and Tenjiku into Toman. In 2008, Mikey announces Toman’s dispersion, which makes their members happy. Eleven times latterly, Takemichi and Hinata get married in front of their musketeers and family, bringing the story to a close.
